There usually is a three-day waiting period before the marriage license becomes valid. After that date, you can book your ceremony. You can even book for the next day if we have availability.

Completed marriage licenses will be mailed via FedEx the next business day. Ceremonies and Sign n’ Go services performed on Saturdays and Sundays will be sent out that Monday.

  • How Soon Will We Receive Our Official Marriage Certificate?

This all depends on how many licenses the county office must process at that time. FedEx usually delivers the license to the county office within a few days. Then the time frame varies from county to county. This is an excellent question to ask during your marriage application meeting.
